This property had been recently purchased by the owner prior to us starting the works. Her aim was to make the house more energy efficient, to create more spacious living areas and to modernise the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and ensuite.

The existing single-glazed windows and sliding doors were replaced with PVC double-glazed units. PVC windows and doors are currently the most energy-efficient products available and greatly increased the energy efficiency of the home.

The seperate toilet and bathroom were combined to make a larger space and the repositioning of the fixtures and fittings made this a more user-friendly space. The renovations to the kitchen and living areas created a large, modern kitchen, family room and large north-facing living area. The addition of a Velux skylight and gas-fired log heater ensures these areas will be comfortable all year round.

The home was completely repainted and all new floor coverings were laid on completion of the works.
